My name is Amanda Works. I've been a part of the BES family since 2023. I grew up near Hershey, Pennsylvania and moved to Virginia to attend Liberty University, where I studied Elementary Education with minors in French and psychology. Outside of school, I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, reading, watching movies, and traveling to new places. Fun fact: I visited my 50th state this summer! I love working with Brookneal students and am looking forward to this year!

My name is Christina Fulcher. I've been a part of the BES family since 2024. I grew up in Nelson County and graduated from Liberty University with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Middle School Math.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, exploring new places, and baking.  I am looking forward to a wonderful year in 2nd grade! 

Hi, I’m Robbie Tyson! I’m excited to begin another year teaching at BES! I have taught 1st grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade in the past, but 2nd grade feels like home. In my free time I enjoy reading and doing puzzles. I have three kids, so my family stays busy with sports. My husband says that my spirit animal is a sloth.
