I have worked in Public Education for more than a decade. During my time at Brookneal Elementary School, I had the pleasure to teach kindergarten, 2nd and 3rd grade, Title One as a Reading Specialist, and Special Education. This school year, I have the opportunity to support students, teachers, and families as an Elementary Intervention Design Specialist at Brookneal Elementary School and Altavista Elementary School. I graduated from Lynchburg College with my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Masters in Education: Reading and Special Education. I am passionate about providing kids with opportunities and experiences. I enjoy music, sports, and spending time with my two grandchildren, husband, and attending events of my school kids.
